suicide my ass! that is absolutely without a doubt the jail deputies fault. The officers and the jail should sued for failing to properly handle someone that had the mental health issues that he had. The jail should have trained their officers on how to handle specific mental health illnesses. these men and woman were supposed to protect and serve failed to do both. the entire system failed this man and they should be held responsible for that. though it wont bring him back it will at least teach these people a lesson about how to address those with issues they are not capable of controlling especially in stressful situations. my heart goes out to his mother I can't begin to know the pain you are left to endure but I hope you have been able to cope and learn to carry on with life.

Cops don't get the necessary training to deal with an autistic person. They act on the belief that everyone is a guilty criminal so why would they see a person like that any different.

this really pisses me off! something needs to change for mental crisis with people with disabilities. I get he was arrested on a warrant but the whole process should have gone differently
