As a sushi chef that is a solid attempt for first time rollers. I remember my first few rolls were so bad that i use to eat the mess ups until i was full. Only thing is that rice has been cooked with alot of water which caused it to be mushy. when a batch of rice turns a bit mushier than usual we let it slightly dry as the heat of the rice makes the excess water dry
