This movie made me appreciate Korra even more because it shows that Aang and Korra actually have a lot in common. People love to criticize Korra for trusting her uncle, saying that's why chaos was unleashed. But Aang also trusted someone he believed was one of his own—an Air Nomad he found frozen—and that person ended up trying to take over the world. The point is that both Avatars were deceived by people they had reason to trust. Neither one intentionally caused the chaos. They were manipulated. That parallel makes me appreciate Korra's story even more.
