I kept telling people for years after COVID that it was not inflation. It was fakeflation. You cannot have inflation and make a profit. These corporations were making hand over fist profits some of them record breaking. People were looking at me like I was crazy.But if you know how inflation works it's not possible to have profits during true inflation. The money that they're raising prices for would be going somewhere down in the supply chain not profits. These corporations rely on people being ignorant and not picking up a book in reading about basic economics.
