Also, we gotta do something about both Paramount and Bryke because wtf are they doing? First they make 'Avatarian' which is orientalist and retcons the original Chinese character hanzi usage in ATLA. These dimwits introduced a NEW language to a world that ALREADY had one. I would've fine if they just made it for Seven Havens only, but this stuff is what happens when you let two white guys with no education or experience with Asian culture in charge of a series it took inspiration from. I wanted to add that since they're unashambly using genAl in their production, it's no wonder the movie's new language is generic is bs. I think it also explains why the Seven Havens' story is post-apocalyptic, a cheapass move to get rid of everything about ATLA so they can make another generic fantasy show with the same Voltron gimmick.
