#ad This is SO GOOD & PERFECT for summer!! This Strawberry-Grapefruit Juice recipe from the makers of @ballcanning is my new favorite drink & my new go to for using up all of the in season strawberries. Let me know if you try it! #BallhomecanningAmbassador Recipe:  Yield: about 5 quart jars  4 quarts strawberries  6 pink grapefruits  1 1/2 to 2 cups sugar  1 quart water  PREP: Wash strawberries and grapefruits under cold running water; drain. Remove stems and caps from strawberries. Crush strawberries using a potato masher. Cut grapefruits in half crosswise. Remove seeds. Extract juice using a juice reamer.  COOK: Combine crushed strawberries, grapefruit juice, sugar and water in a large saucepan. Heat juice for 5 minutes at 190F, stirring until sugar dissolves. Do not boil juice. Strain juice through a damp jelly bag or several layers of cheesecloth.  FILL: Ladle hot strawberry-grapefruit juice into a hot jar, leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Clean jar rim. Center lid on jar and adjust band to fingertip-tight. Place jar on the rack in boiling-water canner with simmering water (180F). Repeat until all jars are filled.  PROCESS: Water must cover jars by 1 inch. Adjust heat to medium high, cover canner, and bring water to a rolling boil. Process pint or quart jars 15 minutes, adjusting for altitude. Turn off heat and remove cover. Let jars cool 5 minutes. Remove jars from canner; do not retighten bands if loose. Cool 12 hours. Check seals. Label and store jars.  #Ballhomecanning #NewellBrands #canning #homestead #canningstrawberrygrapefruitjuice #gardening #morethangardening #canningjuice
