I don’t leave work early anymore. When I get home. I just sit there in my truck. I look over to the passenger seat where she used to sit. I think of all the smiles we had, how much love I had for her, and the future we had. I turn the truck off and go home to the empty house

this was me last night after I came home from an 18 hour shift I was hungry but couldn't eat even tho I had all my favourite foods I was tired but I couldn't sleep because I kept feeling like I have so much more to do I wish I could go back to the peaceful days

I use too do this sometimes still do although my house is always empty since my partner passed in 2024 is sad how fast the time has gone since I last heard her voice saw her smile now I just hope the sunsets and sunrises are her shining her light down upon my face I miss her so much I hide it by faking I dont whenever someone says something too remind me I find myself struggling too cope so I tell them the bad parts but I will ajd should share the goodness too I hope she understands its just hard too remind myself shes the only person who ever showed me love who stayed even when she should have left and she only left because our relationship turned negative due to her mental health and my lack of understanding how to help her so she got violent and angry and then by the time she had learned to calm down she was diagnosed with cancer and only had roughly a month left I wish she was here with me even tho it got bad i always loved her and always wanted her near me im ashamed of myself for how I failed her in the end that will haunt me till my own ending comes knowing I pushed her away the year she needed me most made me feel shocking and unhappy with who I am I write in comments how I feel so that maybe she sees my pain when I cry and she knows I always will love her with all I am and all I can be but shes not here anymore and i hate it
