I agree with Dr. Umar 100% on how the system systematically dismantled Black institutions, trades, and the unity of the household. But we have to make sure we include Malcolm X in that history, along with all those serious grassroots organizations and movements that the government tried to crush. And let's not forget Dr. King in his later days, when he realized that integration was like walking into a burning building if we don't have true power and self-determination first.
