Also the movie nerfed EVERYONE. Katara not being able to bend cause "she is out of water", Sokka was only there for comedic relief although he is a swordsman that trained under the white lotus, Yukon showed none of the bending he used against Azula, Aang never stayed in the Avatar state. He should have been able to tap into that older avatar now that he knew where she was or something. So annoying

the movie was basically closure for Aang's guilt. They did so good. the movie did it well. only thing i hated was that katara "i have no more water :[" that was stupid. otherwise 8/10. I wish it released in theaters.

It feels like y’all‘s problem is that this wasn’t a series and it was a movie. They obviously couldn’t fit everything into it. And isn’t the point of the movie to show aangs internal struggle with his people that led to how he would treat his children in the future in Korra. I enjoyed tf out of this movie my only complaint was I wish it was longer

I knew this would happen 😭😭😭 before the movie even released everyone loves it. Now the moment it’s available to watch for everyone (that got paramount or have theater access or found it on some site) now everyone hating on it😮💨💀 but everyone is entitled to they opinions, i personally loved it🙂↕️

Whole movie is just a victory lap for a nearly 20yr old series. I get wanting what we felt in 2008 but aang’s story is done. Full circle complete. there’s not much more they could ever do to satisfy everyone.

It’s a movie about a show that came out in 2005. They are obviously not going to lore dump when most people watching it will be new fans. I agree the story wasn’t amazing like in Atla but this is a great way to reintroduce people back into the avatar world for future films/ shows.
