It's a man's(or just non pregnant partner's) job to take care of the mother during pregnancy and then that job transitions into being a parent when the child is born. There is a lot we can do many unfortunately don't.

Yeah as soon as I had my first baby (after possibly the worst pregnancy imaginable), I was like HOW are there so many people and WHY are the women second class to men?!?????

My ex husband was useless on purpose and he did it gradually so by the time I had my 2nd child he was so hands off that he would t even have them both at the same time for me to go to Morrisons 5 mins away. The first time he took them out together the youngest was 2 yrs old. Meanwhile I’d completely given over my body for 18 months then breastfed for a combined 4 years roughly. I was so stuck in the middle of it but haven’t looked back since I left. Been managing it for 9 years solo and it’s so much easier 😁

Thank you for making this video. I've had two children and luckily, with a decent man. But yes, women are flipping amazing and our bodies are wonderful.

Sadly, I think some men are more physical and visual, they don’t really comprehend a pregnancy until the baby is out. It’s also weird because pregnancy in the beginning is so tiring but you look exactly the same. So it’s hard for some partners to understand the creation of a child is literally draining the life out of you - mothers live is self sacrifice and starts day 1 of pregnancy

the physical strain is massive. but it is the best feeling in the world having a baby move inside you. Also, there are many men nowadays who take responsibility physically for their children nowadays, but not so many taking on the mental load of organising family life around their children's needs. hopefully that too is changing.
