Bottom line is she didn't commit a crime, why should she have to ID. License is valid, but expired, how did she commit a crime. At best, its a traffic infraction. Write a fucking ticket.

so any traffic stop you have to identify yourself the cop was completely right the whole time she refused to identify herself which you have to at any point when you get pulled over for a valid reason and this was a valid stop

The sovereign citizen shtick is so overdone and tiresome. Yes any cop while on duty can run a plate: Kansas v Glover 2020, People v Bushey, US v Ellison…Glover also gives cops the favor and assumption that the registered owner, unless having evidence to the contrary, is gonna be driving….so you have the easy cause to pull someone over. Expired license is a fine. It’s not that crazy. Smh.

Why do they have to make EVERYTHING so damn difficult? I guarantee IF she got a ticket but then renewed her license before court the ticket would be dropped. But doing all this makes everything worse.

I am usually very outspoken against the cops, but with that being said, you really need to know your rights, know when you do and don’t have to provide id if you want to flex your rights. Sad this lady and a lot of the comment section are so misinformed. We can only fight tyranny when we are as or more informed as the tyrants

The registered owner (based on license plate) is not the only person that can legally drive the car. So the cop had no right to ASSUME the driver was the owner, therefore an illegal detention.
