@theknottygarden: A lot of the gardens you see on social media are on farms or sprawling properties. 🌱 Mine is tucked right into an urban neighbourhood, and I’m here to show you that you don’t need acres of land to grow an incredible amount of food. Everything you see here is grown in about 1500sqft of my backyard. Here’s just a glimpse of what’s growing: 🌱 Rhubarb 🌱 Raspberries 🌱 Pear tree 🌱 Apple tree 🌱 Peach tree 🌱 Kiwi vine 🌱 Grape vines 🌱 Goji berries 🌱 Elderberries 🌱 Gooseberries 🌱 Two zucchini plants 🌱 Many squash & pumpkin plants 🌱 Many cucumber plants 🌱 Many tomato plants 🌱 Several pepper plants 🌱 Pole & bush beans 🌱 Snap peas, snow peas & shelling peas 🌱 Broccoli 🌱 Cauliflower 🌱 Bok choy 🌱 Radishes 🌱 Carrots 🌱 Celery 🌱 Lettuce 🌱 Kale 🌱 Swiss chard 🌱 Herbs 🌱 Cut flowers 🌱 Pollinator flowers …and that’s still not everything! I also grow in containers on my deck, along both sides of my house, and in my front yard. The point is simple: you don’t need a huge property to grow a lot of your own food. You just need to make the most of the space you have. If you’re ready to get started, grab my free Seed Starting Guide. It walks you through what to start and when, making it easy to grow your own food. Comment GUIDE to get the link or head to my bio. 🔗 🌸Erin
