Went to a wedding at the weekend and some couples really forget who the day is actually for. 🙄 We drove two hours, bought outfits, paid for a hotel AND put money in their card, then got one tiny meal each. I asked for another and apparently they’d only catered “one per guest.” Excuse me?? After everything I spent attending THEIR wedding? I ended up having some of my husband’s because he eats like a sparrow anyway. If you can afford flowers and a photographer, you can afford to feed people properly. Priorities. 🤷♀️#selfish #neveragain

£75-100 if your just a guest, £100-150 if your in the wedding party, and then more if family. I equate it to the price I’m willing to pay for a present.

I'm in Ireland, its an unspoken rule you cover your plate so a couple would be €150-200, for our close friends we'd do €250 and bridal party can be €300-500, Many friends have told us uk guests are scabby at gifts and some dont even give a card.
