They are only closing to renovate as a new business center Costco. They are getting rid of the pharmacy, food court, & tire shop, and they will no longer sell liquor. Regular Costco members will still be able to shop there for groceries & other household goods once they reopen.

If you do further research this is not true. I thought it turning into a business center would end grocery sales for us normal folk but apparently it’s more of the utensil and drink side. The entirety of the store will still be for any member use and they will still have groceries. There is just going to be bigger bulk items for restaurant size but you and I can still buy groceries there

I’m not a big Costco shopper. My kid is. I got caught in the unfortunate situation that the independence store didn’t have the tire she needed so I ended up at Linwood. This is noon on a Monday and the pace is packed. The tire center is right by the food court, there are people waiting, walking out with carts full of groceries. I mean they must have a business model but if they place is packed why would you discontinue services?
