Some providers do expect for us to fully triage every patient and some patients be like “why are you asking me all these questions, if the providers gonna ask me again” or “why are you asking these questions, your not my provider” 🙄😮💨😒

So apparently MD/DOs don’t like to be classified as providers. Just giving you a tip. I was shadowing a GI and she clocked me so hard when I called her a provider. All the other Drs agreed it’s so disrespectful to them bc it puts them at the same level as PAs and NPs which they apparently don’t like.
