I’m 33 and just like I guess put puzzle pieces of my life together and was like “ahh yes bisexual fits”. I’ve told like 3 people, one being my therapist, and so far so good BUT I am married to a man. And I’m terrified to tell him because I don’t want him to over analyze my interactions with women. If that makes sense. I’m just scared.

I grew up in a small town in South Texas and it was very conservative, so I did what I was supposed to and married a man, finished college, raised children and now, I decided it’s time to take care of myself and I came out and did lose some friends and even some family. My family is slowly accepting me now but it’s hard because they’re traditional Mexican religious bunch. I’m my true authentic self now and living life with PRIDE! 🏳️🌈

Oklahoma 🤠 it wasn’t too bad for me but I was older when I came out. Small towns are usually more conservative. Bigger cities like Tulsa and OKC are a little more progressive but it’s still very conservative here.

Honestly, some of my family is conservative as well and I tried bringing up the conversation but it didn’t go so well, they saw it as me being “confrontational and disrespectful,” while I’m just trying to help them see the obvious that we’re still equal human beings that deserve basic equal rights? They’re mad at me now but I never gave up on them and never will

I was living in Virginia at the time .. when I came out I was doused with holy water and prayed over. Coming out was hard to say the least.

I didn't come out to my mom, I got found out by my mom. Who drove me over to my girlfriends house.. on a Sunday morning... to tell her pastor of a father the truth about us.. right before they left for church.
