She 16 and pays for her own phone so legally it’s her property, it doesn’t matter ones your 16 these kinda situations aren’t the same as if they were younger then 16, yes when your 16 your still a kid however when your paying for stuff with money you worked for that your stuff, it’s like saying your mom can take your pay checks just cus she your mom. No that not how it works you worked for it, yes her mom can discipline her at 16, but not take her property over her geting a lil upset about her siblings STEALING her money. Not only did she get stolen from her siblings but now her mom stole her phone.

If she paid the phone, and also not allowed the phone, then why the mom needs to keep the phone? She clearly needs that phone for her jobs, and other stuff. An iphone 16 is not a privilege when it involves transportation, and the importance of her job. It doesn’t matter the type of iphone it is.

I get she paid the bill but if her mom paid for the phone and the phone is under her name, yall can’t say the mom wrong that’s why the mom said when you get paid you can buy your own phone under your name not only that I’m not letting a child that lives under MY roof control the house
