@traveltomtom: This is in Ilesa, Osun State: traditional kitchen in rural Nigeria! 🇳🇬 Nigeria = food! 🔥 No gas stove, no fancy equipment. Just wood fires, giant pots, fresh ingredients, and recipes that have been passed down for generations. We watched cow meat and intestines being cooked over an open fire, yams steaming in huge pots, and then followed the process to where the yams were being pounded by hand into one of West Africa’s most iconic staples. It felt like walking through a live, open-air kitchen where every step of the cooking happens right in front of you. One of the most authentic food experiences I’ve had in Nigeria so far. 🙌🏽 And yes… of course I ate it!
