See I’m the opposite nowadays, or we’re confused I guess. I became a very strong Christian when I was 16 years old and I stayed that way until I was probably 22, was a big part of the church community, and honestly those years were probably the best years of my life. I’m now 46 years old and I guess you could say I lost my faith, back when I was probably 30 years old, you’re going to war and experiencing all sorts of other things led me to a place where I started questioning every single belief I had, and one of those questions was “why do I believe Christ is the son of God?”, And the answer was because Mann told me too, people that I trusted said this is what the truth is, but life has shown me you cannot trust a single human being. I strongly believe in most of Christ teachings but I have no idea if he’s actually the son of God because I wasn’t there, and the Bible was written by men and interpreted by a lot of men. I wish I could find my way back there, truly. Feels like I’ve been living in purgatory for the last 20 years in my own version of hell on earth
