Teeeeeechnically, height is metric. On my DL, my height is in cm, but I’m not even sure it’s accurate. They literally asked me: do you know how tall you are? I told them my height in feet, and they wrote a number in cm on my dl so 🤷🏼♀️

No, I'm sorry, kilometers is a government sign and measurement, in daily life we measure distance in time it takes to get there. No one wants to know that it's 16 kilometers to work, they want to know that it takes 20 minutes to get there.

The prairies were surveyed in miles. Saskatchewan has township roads at every 2 miles and range roads at every mile. So I find it way easier to navigate rural Saskatchewan in miles.
