@kelsey.bader.ugc: Some days are loud. Some days are messy. Some days I count down to bedtime. But then there are moments like this. The little laughs. The sticky hands reaching for mine. The random hugs. The “Mama, watch this!” for the hundredth time. These are the moments I prayed for, even on the days that test every ounce of my patience. If I wake up grateful for the day I’ve been given, then getting to be here—to witness their childhood instead of hearing about it later—is the cherry on top.
