It is true, China copied and stole EVERYTHING from Germany. But that was 20 years ago. And overtook Germany in EVERYTHING in the last decade. So these days there is nothing Chine could want from Germany. But Germany did help China supercharge their industry and advanced in the past.

I work in tech in Germany and can tell you for certain that there are zero innovations coming out of our industry. We have a lot of talented people ngl, but damn everything associated with AI is a fight against regulations and bureaucracy

There was a massive problem with patents and intellectual property of foreign companies in China. Chinese success is based - only in part, of course - on these actions. Let’s call things as they are or as least as they were.
