I feel he’s definitely doing WORLDS BETTER then what his father did, but avoiding his past and not emotionally bonding with his kids rlly is doing more harm than good sometimes bc he can accidentally repeat patterns without knowing bc he doesnt reflect

I really hope we get an episode that’s similar to this one comic I read about the show where it’s Glam and Dee who after Dee had a mental breakdown the two went of in Victoria’s bike and had a heart to heart and Glam tells Dee about his past and how Dee helps him somewhat heal from it

IMO he’s moving on. Sometimes the best thing we can do is just leave things unsaid. He didn’t need to vocalize his terrible upbringing because he was putting his thoughts to action by being the type of dad he would’ve wanted.

Esto se nota muchísimo en su comportamiento; definitivamente a pesar de que Glam afirmo metafóricamente perdonar a su padre y decir que ha ido a terapia, es evidente que no puede eliminar algo tan fácilmente. Eso se demuestra en lo controlador y perfeccionista que es con Dee y en cierta parte negligente con Heavy. No lo hace desde la falta de amor como lo hizo su padre, pero sí, de forma muy inconsciente; cómo si fuera natural que esa sea la manera correcta de aprender las cosas o que todo salga bien. Con heavy prácticamente todo se lo deja a victoria. Pero son detalles muy pequeños, pero más que nada pues su comportamiento ya está más que obvio que cambió a cómo era mientras vivía con su padre o las primeras veces que conoció a Ches. Evidentemente su sonrisa tetrica y su personalidad pragmática es más un daño colateral/mecanismo de defensa involuntario que un rasgo en sí.

Not to mention Glam is so traumatized from the abuse from his father, he’s permanently wide eyed (sometimes he does relax his eyes but only when threatening someone or alone)

There is a part of me that likes Glam for his overly positive self but at the same time I know it means he is dissociating by the way he acts and looks. Like it may be because I have only seen him one way but I also cannot imagine Glam without his over-positivity

He’s trying not to be like his dad but definitely not getting better! It’s said in the show that he’s medicated (on the same meds as Lif) and we also see glimpses of “Sebastian” or “his father” in some scenes, like when he’s trying to teach Dee guitar!
