EVERY older gen complains about the younger gen, only to have the younger gen’s eventually grow up to do the exact same about their kids’ gen. It’s the definition of insanity. No one stops to notice that it’s merely a rite of passage! Haha. It’s so dumb. Maybe your gen will be the first to break the cycle? Not putting my $$ on it.

I agree with you. You’re one of only people who has been objective to see both sides. As far as the Boomer era, they were coming off the most lucrative decade, but wages were relatively less. The current generation actually may have it harder, because if you look at fact about where the minimum wage is now, in relationship ove time (has not kept up with inflation). I think more people go to college these days, but struggle to find jobs they went to school for.

I’m not a boomer, but this is why young people get hate… You’re having to exaggerate the boomers experience in order to validate the whining of Gen Z and Alpha. You also conveniently leave out when it comes to the homes that boomers purchased i.e. their first homes, they were 800 maybe 1200 ft.² child siblings shared rooms yes, boomers had an amazing time to come up, behind the greatest generation, but let’s be honest about the economy. They came up in, making five bucks an hour was a big deal.

I get that. But 99.999% of boomers are no different than you. We got up and went to work and played in the system. Also I'm a boomer born in 60. No idea where I could have got a30K home. Also lost a wife to a disease that is now considered chronic-so don't tell me how easy it was

Oh please I’m actually here for everyone. I think people need to refrain from spilling their complaints about any generation. You don’t know what people have gone through regardless. I’m a Gen Jones I could spend weeks complaining about how rough I had it on the Internet and all my experiences but you know what I try to do is stop bitching and indulging and self-pity and just move the fuck on learn from your mistakes stop complaining.

I can build a house from the ground up! done it ffs! but I needed q specific website made, poop with computers lol, had a kid approach me with it made! paid him $500! he said it took him an hour! WTF??? Everything is so steemlined now! business is going much better! $500 for an HOUR!!! And I was happy to pay it!!!!
