don’t think of laporte as a cheap signing, you have to remember the relationship between bilbao and barca. unless 15 mil is his release clause then i doubt we can get him that cheap

I think Laporte is the player we need most. He’s got experience, he’s a leader and has all the attributes we need from our CB except speed. Romero is a crashout, he prolly might be better at Barca but I feel like we would just be signing another Aroujo. Barca don’t have a leader defensively and I think Laporte is someone we need to not only help Cubarsi but also Martin and Balde. He’s also affordable and he doesn’t need to play every game.

Romero would be a good addition to barca, id take romero in a heartbeat over bastoni and get rid of konate. He’s a great defender and can make last ditch tackles to save the back of the net, however his red card chances with this system would drastically increase
