I always wonder if Steve knew that Tony didn’t need the reactor to survive anymore. I know he went for the reactor because that’s what power the Iron Man armour but did he know it wasn’t a death sentence or was Steve so far gone into protective mode he didn’t even think about it?

i dont understand current fans now, Captain America was right about the avengers that they should not be under check by the government. Iron Man was never wrong about wanting to kill bucky because he killed his parents. (To those who dont understand basically you dont understand human emotions) It does not matter if bucky was under control. I wouldnt be able to forgive him too if i were in Tony's shoes cuz damn thats my parents. If ur family was killed it does not matter who did it, you will always want justice for the people who did you wrong.

I saw a video saying he tore of Tony’s mask on purpose because in Avengers 1 Tony flew into space and his reactor gave out and the first thing they did when he landed was take off his mask so he can breathe, meaning Steve never wanted to kill him, he just wanted to take of Tony’s mask so he could breathe once he deactivated the suit, and I think that makes a lot of sense
