So my doctor wanted to put me on statins, but I wasn’t too sure about it. I went a little deeper and found out it’s my thyroid causing problems and my high LDL. I treated my thyroid and my LDL dropped. Why do doctors never look at root cause when it comes to elevated LDL?

Thanks to genetics I have ASCVD. I’M 62. I’VE BEEN ON STATINS SINCE I’M 25. I CURRENTLY TAKE 40 MG ROSUVASTATIN AND REPATHA TWICE A MONTH. MY LDL IS NOW UNDER 40 AND ALL OF MY OTHER NUMBERS ARE GREAT. LUCKILY, I HAVE HAD ZERO SIDE EFFECTS.

I’m on Crestor and haven’t had any side effects but it has only been a month. Is this medication better at lowering LDL than Crestor? I’m guessing it could be expensive. I pay$0.00 for Crestor with WellCare.

I have heart disease. 1st heart attack 3 months after my 60th birthday and soon to be 67. 1st one woke me up as to living a better life. Ozempic has done wonders for my type-2 and blood pressure. 💯

I had a widowmaker at 49 and a stent was put in my LAD. I had a triple bypass at 53, and by 54 all 3 arteries closed so they put a stent in my RCA.

Repatha will also DECREASE your HSA or bank account. Hopefully Lipfendra is reasonably priced. I’m not holding my breath.
