I’m the opposite. If it is even a HAIR too bright, my brain shuts down. I can’t process other sensory inputs. My only concern is dimming the light. Sunglasses, hats, or just going back tf inside.

I wonder if people who have difficulty hearing with sunglasses actually are tensing their tensor tympani muscle by holding the glasses on with their ears.

I’m the opposite. I have light colored eyes, and I am completely blind out in the sun without sunglasses on.

I have hazel eyes and it physically hurts my eyes walking from inside to outside into bright light. I have never had it effect my hearing though.

Age doesn’t help with any of these problems. I have to make sure I am looking through the correct part of my trifocals and turning off the radio to find my wallet before I even leave the house.
