its important to point out this this type of muzzle is mainly used for short periods of times, like vet or grooming appointments, for longer durations a basket muzzle is best as it allows them to pant and drink water

Whilst muzzle sizing is important if you're using them on dogs generally, for training conditioning these muzzles are absolutely okay.... the number of people suggesting this isnt an okay muzzle just for muzzle training is worrying!

You can even start muzzle training before you even buy a muzzle by rewarding your dog for putting his nose in a large empty yogurt pot

Interesting, we have a dog trainer and also training the muzzle, but i‘m only allowed to reward inside the muzzle because my trainer said, we want to reward wearing the muzzle and not going out of it. Because the dog is connecting the trestment with the last movement he‘ve done.
