You can be in church your whole life yet still never give your life to Christ. He doesn’t want your church attendance, only your Sundays, your emotional singing, your time and service if that’s all you’re willing to give. I have learned you can spend your whole life living Christian yet never actually know him. I learned the hard way. And I’m here to warn you so you don’t make the same mistake. Being a Christian isn’t a trend or a fashion statement. It isn’t something you do or say. It isn’t a part you play. It’s either your whole life or it’s a facade. Here’s the hard truth. If you don’t and won’t read the whole Bible, you probably don’t know him. Going to church will never replace knowing him or his word. The reality is that the majority of people in church have no idea what the Bible even says. Just because a pastor preaches it doesn’t make it biblical or true. It wasn’t until I read the whole Bible (like really read it, not for a grade) that I realized it wasn’t what I thought it was. Half of it I had never heard. Half of it was explained away to me. And without reading it ALL, over and over, I never would’ve come to know Yahuah and Yahusha. I tried to get around reading the Bible my whole life. I rationalized it by saying the pastors understand it better, I’ll just listen to sermons. I was even told by spiritual leaders that us, common folk, can’t interpret the Bible without seminary. I’m here to tell you that if you have access to a Bible and you’re not reading it, you might not be his follower. I get it. It’s a big book. It can be a hard read. You might hate reading like me. You love God but have no desire to read it. That’s fine. You didn’t have a desire to go to class everyday or wake up early for work but you did it because you wanted the rewards of it. And if you expect the rewards, promises and blessings of God, you absolutely will have to do the hard things of seeking him. Yahusha spoke in parables because living for him requires seeking. You can find him but you must seek him to do it. That’s why the path is narrow. We’ve been taught it only takes a 5 second prayer to be his but that’s not even in his word. It’s a complete giving away of your life. Not just your Sundays. Not just lifting your hands. A full life of seeking him and obeying him. I know one thing for sure. We will all stand before Yahusha one day and he won’t care if you looked the part. He’ll only care if you actually know him. #thecollinskidsfamily #giveyourlife
