my transphobic grandma had a change of heart when the little girl next door shed watched grow up came out as Trans. now they sit and watch TV together. she is big on proper pronouns now. this 20 year old kid changed her entire thought process. exposure therapy works.

my super conservative uncle weirdly became my biggest ally when I transitioned 🫠😂 like he'll clap me on the shoulder and say like "how's my main MAN doing?" while glaring around the family reunion, itching for a fight 😭

when my ex's catholic maga family found out I was trans, they compared dating me to equivalent of beastiality... we did not become friends, they refused to even meet me. But... theres a reason she's my ex 😅
