We are a decentralised ethnicity so everyone can punch down on us without backlash since it won’t impact them (or so they think.) Somalis are also not very educated/politically interested in their own history so when it comes to explaining why our country is in the mess it is in Somalis don’t have an explanation which just makes us look like savages that ruined their home and do piracy for no reason. The lack of representation on tv is also another thing. Finally, general low self esteem in Somalis who make themselves the but of every joke and put their neck out for every other community who would never do the same for us lol

I have think piece . That’s cuz we don’t mind lifting people spirits..our coping mechanism is our undoing. Tbh since the Gaza and Sudan genocide..Somalis felt survival guilt? ..hence why we were inserted in all topics…to temp check if people had ill will to commit that kind of malice unto us… That or the Indian racism was engineered so Somalis can thrown into brown axis and denigrate our African root/alienate , for future pending conflict.
