And if you live in South Dakota and you get help through the state you are required to go after him for child support and he gets put on the birth certificate and there’s a big chance you got to court for custody and there’s a chance he gets puts 50/50 or something

In Florida, even if he’s on the birth certificate he still doesn’t have rights until the court establishes it. Literally going through this right now!

You can still get child support with no established paternity, the court isn’t going to just say he’s not the father no child support, you will still receive it and his wages will be garnished until he proves he is not the father, you get child support and your baby all to yourself😊

I will never understand why women want to do this if it took 2 to make the child and imagine if they took the baby away from them they wouldn’t like it.. same as a father we have to fight for our rights that isn’t fair.

Yep! Yes! And yes! In Minnesota if you were never married, but he is on the birth cert, mom STILL has full custody! If he is established parent ( but you weren’t married and never went to court to establish custody) all that parentage paper means is that he is financially responsible. It DOESN’T mean he has any rights to baby!!! I wish I would’ve known…

slippery slope. I think it can still sometimes be used against you to look like alienation if you know he's the dad and he's trying. I'd say use caution

I'm currently pregnant with baby 2 after 3 losses and have a toddler with the same father... I've been trying to leave but he financially trapped me and filed custody papers. I don't want him at the hospital when I give birth in October.. that's when he also told me I have to find a new home by October. I'm not sure what to do because we were never married. This baby will have my last name and my Dr told me they won't let him or his mother in. He just told me today that I need to be home Tuesday because a package is coming that I need to sign from the court regarding our 3 year old daughter. I've been sick to stomach hot and cold flashes and trying not to miscarry this one too. Will I be considered high conflict?

I did these things. Dusty can also manipulate the system and accuse you of withholding and the judges loveeee that and side with your abuser and make you hand over your baby after no contact for months.. the system so corrupt :/
