@teesaigonii: Fred Rwigema was a Rwandan-born refugee who fought in Uganda's liberation struggles before leading the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) invasion in 1990. He joined Yoweri Museveni's FRONASA in 1976 to fight Idi Amin. Served in the UNLA and later helped lead Museveni's NRA guerrilla war. He became Uganda's deputy Minister of Defence and deputy chief of defence forces after 1986. He left Uganda to launch a liberation war against Habyarimana's government alongside Paul Kagame. He hoped only to free Rwanda, write his memoirs, and live quietly with his family rather than hold powe unfortunately he died on the second day of the 1990 offensive before reaching Kigali.#kenyantiktok #teesaigon #fyp #africantiktok #foryou #History
