it's really difficult to not side eye the mom's ignorance, why didn't she investigate further when she 1st heard Michael talking to someone in his room and the other person actually responded in a deep older male voice, even if he was talking to himself why would he be doing that in different voices.

I would personally never have a child sleeping on the bottom floor with myself on the second floor, it’s just not safe. This poor boy, I can’t imagine how scared he must have been.

What if it was the landlord 😐 Also...I'd be pissed off at the mum too...she left it way too long and did nothing when she clearly knew something was happening, why would you let your child stay in that room alone after the first time he admitted he was speaking to someone. 🙄

This really upsets me, as a parent I wouldn’t just keep going “ok” if my kid didn’t want to talk to me. I would have torn that damn room apart or had him sleep with me. Poor kid.
