Great job 👏🏽 I grew up in Chicago on the Southside during this tumultuous time. I was in public school, he also reached out to NOI, The Blackstone Rangers and other groups. Yvette Stevens (Chaka Kahn) was a teen volunteer with the free lunch program.

I think about Fred Hampton so much! Such a brilliant soul that did not deserve such a tragic end. Our beautiful ancestors have always been eclipsed by infiltration. May Fred Hampton’s soul and every life lost by white violence rest eternally and finally in peace.
