crazy how these characters have the same exact tropes as the men, most done arguably better and much more interesting, yet still get so overlooked

I’m not in the HSR fandom anymore but something I hated about this game is how the fandom dismissed female characters so much especially in lore. I remember during the penacony patches people would ONLY focus on Sundays and Aventurines lore and used it to explain their actions and refuse to admit that they’re bad people. The same people shit on female characters, and those that weren’t were watered down to male characters that they were close to. Robin is a pop star and Sunday is her biggest fan! Sparkle is a racist and nothing else! Jade oppresses Avturine, she doesn’t deserve to be playable and she came out of nowhere! Firefly is the trailblazers girlfriend! I remember searching up “hsr character lore” and only seeing videos on Sunday and aventurine. Absolutely nothing about a female character. I’d like to say it’s still the same situation today because of this fandoms inability to admit that they’re misogynistic or at least see misogyny as normal because that’s what they’re used to from real life and gacha games.

i really enjoy how this trend has the men with the career first with the word ‘man’ flickering for the shorter part of time, whereas the women flickers the career and lingers on the word woman longer to show how they are objectified and not seen for their careers or achievements

I really hate when they draw any of the women in hsr as some submissive yandere. rather than seeing any of the characters stereotypically I hope the fandom realize how much all of the characters are than whatever stereotype they put them in man or woman.

Idk anything about hsr but this is so accurate, i can name the male characters and their basic lore and when it comes to the female characters it gets watered down to “oh its the girl from hsr” 😭 this is so peak 🥹🥹
