I’ve never had a baby, but I have severe pmdd and a very similar hormonal imbalance to someone with ppd for 1-2 weeks every month. before I got it under control with meds, if my mom was on social media sharing my struggles as if they were her own, it would’ve had me spiraling. Supporting someone through a mental health struggle is its own journey, and you can talk about it without giving the details of her struggle, and you can certainly do it without shoving a camera in her face
