Sun in is scary for us hairstylists on a chemical level.. we can’t be sure how chemicals will react with hair that has been sprayed with sun in. I’m glad it works for you though and I am a full supporter of doing your own hair if you can 👏👏

Don’t use t-14! It will cancel out the little band of orange, but it will lift your new growth making it bright orange

It’s technically a permanent color that’s why box says 20. (Meaning permanently changes natural…lift and deposit) 10 vol equal less lift of cuticle. So right choice, you could not go so ash and it won’t create as much variation between top and ends. Even a golden tone should calm down raw lift of sun in.

If you used 20vol it would have lifted your natural color at your roots which is why 10 was the right choice

so the reason for 10 vol is its just gonna deposit the color onto your hair. thata what you want for toner. if you use 20 vol it has lifting power to shift your hair color than deposit which creates more problems sometimes
