@artistrybyyoulandarenee: Fluid Expression | Convertible Fire-Painted Copper Choker Some designs evolve beyond a single purpose. This Fluid Expression choker was hand-shaped from substantial 6-gauge copper wire, creating a bold sculptural silhouette that’s both artistic and wearable. While the heavy-gauge wire provides strength and structure, it allows for slight adjustment to achieve a comfortable fit. Simply open the choker just enough to slide it around the neck. The flowing lower swirl was intentionally designed to stand beautifully on its own or serve as the anchor for a removable pendant, allowing the piece to transform with your style. The pendant began as a flat sheet of copper that I air chased by hand to create its richly textured surface. After cleaning the metal, I used a torch to fire paint the copper, allowing heat alone to reveal vibrant tones of copper, gold, olive green, and hints of blue. Because fire creates its own unique patterns, no two pendants can ever be exactly alike. To help preserve those naturally formed colors, the pendant has been sealed. Whether worn as a sculptural statement choker or paired with its one-of-a-kind pendant, this piece celebrates movement, transformation, and the beauty that emerges when artistry meets fire.
