I'm a self taught swimmer. started in 1990.@ age 22. glide looks good. a little too much lifting head for your breath. practice by holding the wall, turn head just so you can sip air, leaving the opposite eye in water. it helps to look more down instead of ahead. once you've got the sip going, when you're swimming a channel will form so you don't sip any water. .
