Here for the refreezing comments. I was always taught you thaw you cook and freeze or cook and eat, you do not refreeze. Is that not true with chicken? Very curious now 🧐

I think as long as it was thawed in the fridge it can be refrozen. However, I cook like 6 times a year so I’m no expert by any means.

So I found this, so glad to know. Refrigerator thaw only: Put the chicken back in the freezer only if it defrosted safely inside the fridge.Time limit: Return it to the freezer within 1 to 2 days of thawing.
