I am stuck on coil… when I pull out some of the fly away hairs that just hang in my face which I was told I can do… sometimes those hairs coil… is this bad?

I bought the sheglam last week and I tried to do it very quick. No hair got stuck, but I felt like it fried the ends of the super white blonde hairs, which I thought was weird, because why wouldn’t it do the other hairs too? They’re all plastic, so why didn’t they fry equally?
