My dad died, found out I was getting cheated on, resigned my lease on him, got a new car and doubled my car payment, sister got diagnosed with stages three cancer, and now live alone. This was all the same month… I didn’t take one day off work and worked through everything, I’m mentally destroyed but I’m doing good!!

My last breakup I’d been at my job 8yrs I wouldn’t show up for days at a time and when I was there I would just be on my phone looking at old messages trying to figure out where I missed the signs, they eventually called me in and said they would offer me a lump sum to leave and I took it, after that day I vowed to never let a relationship ever effect me like that again
