I made my husband install a whole house dehumidifier that's attached to our HVAC unit! Humidity does not get above 50% in our house or that thing clicks on automatically

Annnnnnd that’s when you need to get your walls checked for mold bec ain’t no way you have that much moister in the air and no mold growing in your house. Call a plumber and see if they have a flir camera to see if they can find a leak somewhere.

I live in SE Texas by the coast. I have 2 dehumidifiers and dump them 3 times a day in the summer. That’s TWELVE gallons a day. 😳😩

I’ve been running dehumidifier in my basement for years. Only collects water during spring/summer months. Winter it never turns on. But summer months it’s mind boggling what it’ll collect.
