this is from the tornado that hit Bremen Kentucky in 2021. It was around 11pm. No one could see what was happening because it was nighttime. someone got this photo from a video where the lightning lit up the sky.

This is from a youtube video, but this is one of the few tornado videos i do not like watching because of how much i can imagine this is what a tornado victim POV looks like. I recommend watching the video on youtube though, that tornado behind his neighbors house hits the person recording head on.

It’s always Joplin for me. How day turns to total midnight. It always seems like it’s hitting at dusk or night, but it was full on daylight. I’ve been in some very dark and serious storms but I’ve never seen a black sky like that. It’s almost like even light couldn’t escape it.
