I had chalkboards and I made that a large class calendar and used paint markers to decorate it every month! Then the students knew where to look!

I bought peel and stick whiteboard paper on Amazon to put over a chalkboard and it worked great!

Cover it with Better than Paper. I have a huge board like that and will never write on a chalkboard (sensory overload 🤣). I cover mine and make it another information center.

I have a giant calendar that takes up about half of a whiteboard. My jh students love it bc it has all the important dates on it. I wonder if you can paint the chalkboard with whiteboard paint or fabric it up
