@thelaceybahns: Can’t believe I’m posting this video rn… but i wanted to share this story - I’ll never forget someone from my hometown telling me she would never have babies because she wouldn’t wanna mess up her abs. We were at the gym. I was shocked. I literally never thought about that one time in my life. And i had abs all throughout my life. It was a *brag* id use against my brother. Pretending my visible abs were better than his 😅 they were right @theultradadlife ? Since my twin pregnancy my body has changed. More so than my other pregnancies. And now I’m confronted with the fact that my abs won’t ever show the same way they did before. I’ll have all the extra saggy skin on my belly as a 32 year old. And you know what is kinda hard to admit? It doesn’t feel great. My body will never be the same. I’ve sacrificed so much in the last 10 months, and continue to, daily. It was running 2 marathons a day for 10 months straight and now exclusively breastfeeding these babies… I’m impressed at how much the female body and endure. I know soo many people choose to get twins out early. I’m not here to judge that, everyone gets to make the choice that’s right for them. But that was never gonna be me. If stretching my skin this far was the price for giving my babies the extra time they needed to come into this world big and healthy, I would pay it every single time. No hesitation…..not even a little. I’ve always been someone who would give anything, my body, my comfort, whatever it takes, for the people I love. That’s just how I was raised. My parents and my siblings would go to the ends of the earth for me, and growing up watching that taught me what it means to actually love someone. Now I get to be that for my own kids. And it’s the honor of a fricken lifetime!! So if you’re going to kick me while I’m down, that’s fine. I’ve heard in all these past few months. But honestly, my babies are safe and chunky and in my arms! And that’s all that matters to me 💞 #twins #twin #twinpregnancy #postpartum #stretchmarks
