They also act like we’re not allowed to change our minds about ANYTHING 😭 like you could make a video about your opinion on something, they’ll dig up a video you made YEARS ago with a different opinion and act like it’s this big “gotcha” moment when you simply just changed your mind on a topic.

They'd want EVERYONE to boycott EVERY business even though some people can't financially afford to do that, and when you tell them that, they say "that's such a dog whistle." They also can't believe that people can't financial boycott every business and will say, "that's such a lame excuse."

And it's also these growing habits of taking minor situations and inflating them with INSANE labels I hate how rapidly serious terms are being watered down into "oh this person made a slightly ignorant comment 12 years ago" "But they were an adult!! Shame them!!"

I think a lot of them do moral policing as a way to mark themselves safe from others moral policing them, and the abuse that comes with being at the other end of a woke-witch hunt.😔 it’s kinda sad but I think it goes back to Covid… especially with Gen Z & tail end of millennials.

You can always see where the tide is shifting too on performative outrage by the comments on a video. It’s a heard mentality. If you say anything opposing that outrage theyll pile on you. So that will leave other ppl afraid to speak up.

I feel like a part of it is this influx of people who are not socializing enough and living their lives, so they don’t fully experience how messy the human experience is. So this moral superiority they feel isn’t because they’re so morally pure but because they just aren’t living enough and witnessing first hand that you’re gonna hurt people, people are gonna hurt you and that doesn’t mean you’re evil
