My dad pushed me in the water and i learned how to swim 6 years later I almost drowned😂

100% almost drowned because I had been wearing water wings all day. I was born in the 70s OK🤣 and we were at the beach on vacation. My mom had had all three of us come in for lunch and I snuck back out and because I have been wearing my water wings all day. It felt like I was still wearing them so I just jumped in the deep end, but I wasn’t wearing them thank God my dad made it out there in time before I completely drowned.

What does being in prison have anything to do with being in prison? Just curious. If a parent is in prison for a child drowning, I can almost say with certain that the parent was under the influence of something and not watching them. So clearly they where they belong.

I NEVER put floating on my son, they are not safe. Teaching them to float and grab the wall of the pool can be done with a baby. Swimming lessons is the only safe thing and I still would never have a pool when my son was little. Drowning is silent and all too common.

I am drowned. I was three times because I took off my I was trying to swim took off my floor. I started yelling and I forgot to bring my floaty so yeah but now I cannot now I’m not to swim. It’s really hard.

I been following this swim instructor who will simulate them falling in the pool or off a boat so they can learn what to do when faced with this situation. I would have been a goner as a kid
